Cardiff Half-Marathon Completed

2:11:59 really pleased with that, I ran the whole way and was just about bang on 10-minute mile pace (except for the mile when I went for a wee!). A great experience on a nice flat course with an outstanding finish in the Millenium Stadium - I, of course, did a big sprint finish for the last 50 metres in front of the cheering crowds!

Hi Garry,

Sounds as if you had a great day in Cardiff, and must have been great to see the Millenium Stadium from a players eye view! Thanks for your recent comment on my blog. It was good to hear from you, and encouraging, too. Hope your first training day experience went well. All well here - and we fly to Stansted tomorrow for a few days break. Or, to help Chris and Matt move house! Shall I bring some back copies of SAGA mag with me?

Well done Garry. Trust the new job is going well. Keep plugging away in Mashbury - it's important what you do there. Matthew 18:12 for the times when the attendance figures nag at you. Bests.

Hey Garry,

Well done man! Did Hanover manage to lap you on the full marathon run or did you see him off with a sprint finish - you must have finished around the same time!

Next run - the Lusaka Marathon?

I don't know what I am saying, I'd have trouble running the bath these days.
